In this book, Columbia University physiologist and biophysicist Werner Loewenstein explores the many known ways in which quantum physics manifests within the human brain. In the course, he touches upon the idea of quantum consciousness (though this isn’t actually the point of his book) and explores the ways that the arrow of time impacts our life. His conclusion focuses on the role of quantum mechanics as an information processing tool utilized by the human brain (and the brains of other species), essentially considering the brain as a giant quantum computer.
